Blend is looking for a dynamic marketing leader with proven success partnering closely with sales to grow existing channels and establish new markets in order to exceed revenue targets. This role is responsible for our business-to-business marketing strategy including brand and event marketing, demand generation and channel marketing initiatives that translate into increased market share. This position reports to our Head of Revenue and is a key member of the company's leadership team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop a winning strategy and execute on it: create a marketing and communications strategy with attendant tactics to present an ever-more compelling and attractive message to Blend’s customers and stakeholders.
  • Accelerate growth: draw on deep data analysis, creativity, experiments, and prior experience to win new customers and expand Blend’s relationships with existing customers.
  • Collaborate across the company: partner with company leadership, product, engineering, sales, customer success, and finance to define strategic priorities, milestones and corresponding forecasts and budgets.
  • Empower sales and partnerships: provide our sales team, partners and users with clear messaging and materials for the latest Blend products.
  • Provide thought leadership: be an exceptional storyteller, able to see the big picture, propose innovative solutions to complex problems, and articulate clear goals, insights, plans and achievements.
  • Be quantitative: promote a culture that is data and insights driven. Set a framework that uses research-driven insights and measurements and turn these into strategic action that has a positive impact on business performance.
  • Lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy and go-to market efforts Lead and mentor: develop a talented team of marketing and communications professionals to deliver valuable contributions to Blend and achieve overall career success.
  • Develop, support and grow our enterprise marketing team while collaborating across the organization to establish workflows and processes that scale.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise/B2B marketing; 5+ years leading a team.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services Technology ecosystem, lending and banking personas, decision-makers and competitive landscape preferred.
  • Proven success scaling a B2B marketing team in a high-growth environment.
  • Deep experience designing and implementing marketing strategies and demand generation programs that have consistently contributed to meeting/exceeding revenue targets, including experience with ABM, marketing automation, events and content.
  • Experience leading new business initiatives cross-functionally, and presenting and selling ideas to varied audiences.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships and influence, within and outside areas of control.
  • Is excited to get in the details while simultaneously coaching and developing other members of the team to perform at a high level.

To comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.

For full time hires, the hiring base pay range for this position is between $194,000 and $228,000. Beyond base pay, Blend benefits and perks are described below.  

Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
