About Janea Systems

Janea Systems is a premium software engineering consultancy trusted by leading technology companies to deliver mission-critical software solutions. We specialize in solving the most complex engineering challenges, from kernel to cloud, through deeply technical teams that integrate directly with our clients.

Our globally distributed, elite engineering team works with Fortune 500s and high-growth startups alike. Clients rely on us when the stakes are high, and failure isn’t an option. We don’t compete on price. We compete on excellence, velocity, and outcomes.

As we expand our global footprint across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, we’re hiring a strategic leader to build and scale a high-impact partnerships function that drives growth and unlocks new markets.

The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Partnerships to build and lead our global partner ecosystem. This newly created role reports to the Chief Business Officer and works closely with the CEO. You will define and execute Janea’s partnership strategy, owning the full lifecycle from sourcing to scaling high-value relationships.

You will work across the cloud, software, venture, and consulting ecosystems to develop revenue-generating partnerships that amplify Janea’s reach and reputation. This is a highly strategic role with clear commercial goals. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to define this function, move quickly from strategy to execution, and push beyond the conventional partner playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead our global partnership strategy to accelerate revenue growth and market expansion
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic partners across software vendors, cloud hyperscalers, VCs, accelerators, and consulting firms
  • Build and manage high-impact relationships that generate warm introductions, qualified leads, and co-sell opportunities
  • Lead the full partnership lifecycle: sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, enablement, and long-term success
  • Develop and execute joint GTM initiatives, including bundled services, referral programs, and co-marketing campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and delivery to convert partner relationships into closed consulting projects
  • Track partner KPIs and pipeline metrics to optimize performance and iterate quickly
  • Represent Janea at key industry events and ecosystem forums

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or ecosystem leadership
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering services or technical consulting
  • Proven track record of building partnerships that drive revenue and land marquee clients
  • Deep familiarity with the technical buyer landscape (CTOs, VPEs, architects) and how engineering services are bought, sold, and delivered in premium segments.
  • Experience working with diverse partner types, including cloud providers, SaaS vendors, VCs, accelerators, and systems integrators
  • Outstanding relationship-building and negotiation skills; confident interacting with executives and navigating complex deals.
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic, and action-oriented; you thrive in ambiguity and love building new things from the ground up.

What Success Looks Like

You’re not just building relationships; you’re building a new growth engine. Success in this role means clear traction and measurable commercial impact in year one:

  • Within 90 days, you’ve mapped the partner ecosystem and developed a clear segmentation and prioritization strategy
  • By 6 months, you’ve sourced and activated multiple strategic partners with early co-selling traction or warm lead generation
  • Within the first year, you’ve built a repeatable partnership model that delivers qualified pipeline, accelerates deals, and supports at least 10–15% of net new revenue
  • Sales, Marketing, and Delivery view you as a key growth partner and value driver

Why This Role Is Unique

This is not a legacy channel manager role. It's a greenfield opportunity to define what partnerships mean at a high-performance, engineering-first consultancy that is scaling fast.
You’ll work directly with leadership, operate across industries and geographies, and have the autonomy to build something high-leverage and commercially meaningful from the ground up.
You'll be the architect of Janea’s partnership playbook, designing strategy, shaping execution, and directly impacting revenue growth. If you want to own a high-impact growth lever inside a premium, values-driven firm, this is the role.
