As Head of Marketing – GoBTC Pay, you will own the marketing strategy and commercial growth of our payments business.

You will be responsible for building the GoBTC Pay brand, developing its go-to-market strategy, driving merchant and user acquisition, and accelerating transaction volume across global markets.

This is a strategic leadership role with direct responsibility for business growth. You will work closely with Product, Business Development, Partnerships, Finance, Analytics, and executive leadership to scale one of GoMining's most important growth initiatives.


Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Go-to-Market
  • Define and execute the global marketing strategy for GoBTC Pay.
  • Build positioning, messaging, and value propositions for merchants, partners, and end users.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new markets, features, partnerships, and product launches.
  • Prioritize regions, customer segments, and verticals based on commercial opportunity.
Growth & Commercial Performance
  • Own the commercial marketing funnel across merchant acquisition and end-user adoption.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Partnerships teams to accelerate merchant growth.
  • Develop strategies to increase transaction volume, merchant activation, and customer retention.
  • Define marketing KPIs and measure performance across acquisition, activation, engagement, and revenue.
Brand & Partnerships
  • Build GoBTC Pay as a trusted global Bitcoin payments brand.
  • Develop co-marketing initiatives with merchants, payment providers, wallets, and strategic partners.
  • Support regional marketing activities across key launch markets.
  • Collaborate with PR, Content, Community, and Events teams to strengthen market presence.
Cross-functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, Analytics, Compliance, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives and product roadmap.
  • Build scalable marketing processes and planning frameworks.
  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives across multiple international markets.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Go-to-Market, or Marketing Leadership roles.
  • Proven experience building and scaling B2B2C or fintech products.
  • Strong understanding of payments, merchant acquiring, fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Experience developing global go-to-market strategies and leading product launches.
  • Strong commercial mindset with deep understanding of funnel economics, CAC, LTV, activation, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Experience working closely with Business Development and Partnerships teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional marketing initiatives.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in Bitcoin, crypto, Web3, or digital assets.
  • Experience marketing payment platforms, wallets, PSPs, acquiring, or merchant solutions.
  • Experience launching products across the US, Europe, UAE, LATAM, or APAC.
  • Experience building marketing functions in high-growth startups or scale-ups.
