Medsien is the leading provider of scalable remote care management for a quality patient experience. Hundreds of organizations trust Medsien’s unparalleled technology solutions to implement exceptional remote care management programs, personalize every interaction, and improve the lives of the people who need it most. Based in San Francisco and venture-backed by top-tier investors, Medsien was founded to reimagine remote care management.
More than 60% of all U.S. adults—over 150 million people—live with at least one chronic condition, which requires dedicated, ongoing medical support outside the four walls of their doctor’s office. And yet, only 20% of these patients have access to remote care from the comfort of their homes, putting their health at significant risk. Together, we can save lives and create a real impact.

We are seeking a high-caliber Head of Sales to lead Medsien’s commercial agenda, drive revenue growth, and strengthen the marketing position. This person will lead and develop a high-performing sales organization while driving sustainable growth, playing a key role in shaping go-to-market strategies, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring best-in-class execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy aligned with company’s objectives
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to deliver on revenue and margin goals.
  • Drive top-line growth, profitability, and market share expansion
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team across the US
  • Actively seek to improve the sales process and experiment at various stages of the sales funnel

Qualifications / Desired Skills

  • Proven success in building and scaling sales organizations, ideally in B2B SaaS and/or healthcare
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and market share gains
  • Has owned a $10M+ quota or equivalent pipeline responsibility
  • Can operate in startup ambiguity (0–1) while also preparing for scale
  • Demonstrates ability to drive accountability and performance management
  • Has created a culture of predictable pipeline generation (not founder-led sales)
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
  • Thinks in systems, not individual wins
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills due to managing multiple priorities at any given time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Growth mindset
  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • This role is remote and can be performed anywhere in the United States

Benefits we offer

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage
  • Generous tiered PTO policies
  • Remote and semi-remote work opportunities
  • High level of autonomy

Our Process

We will review your application along with all the others we receive and pick the top profiles for a screening call. In many cases due to time constraints and our candidate volume, only the short-listed candidates are contacted but we do consider each application carefully. If you have been selected as a short-listed candidate, we will contact you for a short screening call to get to know you better. If you don’t get a call, please don’t be disappointed! We receive many applications for each role and must prioritize who we speak to.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
