About Opendoor

At Opendoor our mission is to tilt the world in favor of homeowners and those who aim to become one. Homeownership matters. It's how people build wealth, stability, and community. It's how families put down roots, how neighborhoods strengthen, how the future gets built. We're building the modern system of homeownership giving people the freedom to buy and sell on their own terms. We’ve built an end-to-end online experience that has already helped thousands of people and we’re just getting started.

About the role

Opendoor's Agent Acquisition team converts final-offer opportunities into signed contracts through the licensed real-estate-agent channel. As an Agent Home Sales Advisor, you're the person who turns an underwritten Opendoor offer into a closed deal — partnering with agents and their sellers to explain Opendoor's cash offer versus a traditional listing, working live final offers, and guiding complex transactions to signature. This is consultative, high-volume, phone-first sales where speed-to-contact and conversion on the first conversation are everything.

What you'll do
  • Own a pipeline of final-offer opportunities sourced through the agent channel and convert them to signed contracts (primary KPIs: Contracts Signed, Contracts Closed, FO Conversion %)
  • Be the primary point of contact for agents and their sellers — build fast rapport, diagnose needs, and handle objections on the first (often cold) call
  • Position Opendoor's Cash Offer and Cash Now More Later products with a consultative, no-pressure approach
  • Engage across phone, video, email, and text; prioritize speed-to-contact after an offer is underwritten
  • Manage the deal from offer through contract, coordinating with transaction coordinators and operations to keep it moving to close
  • Maintain consistent productivity through seasonal swings; availability including some evenings/weekends
What we're looking for
  • 3+ years of high-volume, phone-based sales with a record of hitting monthly/quarterly targets
  • Strength in cold, first-touch conversations — the ability to build trust and advance a deal on the first call
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, metrics-driven environment
  • Proficiency with CRM / sales-tracking tools
  • Active real estate license required — or the willingness and ability to obtain one within 3 months of start
Nice to have
  • Real estate / brokerage or agent-facing experience
  • Experience selling a differentiated or "category-creating" product against an incumbent alternative

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
