About Finni Health

Finni Health empowers autism care providers to start, run, and grow their own practices. We democratize autism care by providing access to our insurance network, purpose-built EHR software, HR solutions, and clinical support. We've experienced rapid growth and are backed by top-tier investors like General Catalyst and Y Combinator. We seek smart, driven individuals eager to innovate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Business Partner who brings deep knowledge of the ABA and healthcare landscape to help us build, support, and scale our workforce. You will serve as a trusted advisor to practice owners and practice success managers across our multi-state footprint, helping shape a compliant, people-first organization. You will balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution, navigating the nuances of healthcare employment law, supporting our clinical and non-clinical populations, and driving initiatives that help our people thrive.

What You'll Do

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for practice owners and practice success managers, building trusted relationships across our multi-state footprint

  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, organizational design, and workforce planning

  • Coach managers on effective people practices, conflict resolution, and team development

  • Partner with leadership to understand business needs and translate them into actionable HR strategies

Compliance & Multi-State Employment

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws across all operating states

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare and ABA-specific regulations, licensure requirements, and workforce compliance standards

  • Manage leave of absence administration (FMLA, state-specific leave laws) and ADA accommodations across jurisdictions

  • Support audits and regulatory inquiries as needed

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and mission-aligned culture across a distributed workforce

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends (turnover, engagement, time-to-fill) to identify opportunities for improvement and present findings to leadership

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment strategy for both clinical and operational roles

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS

  • Support the development, documentation, and rollout of HR policies and procedures

  • Participate in compensation benchmarking and total rewards analysis in partnership with HR Manager

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner or in a generalist role with HRBP responsibilities

  • Direct experience in ABA therapy, behavioral health, or a healthcare/clinical services environment

  • Proven experience supporting employees across multiple states, with working knowledge of multi-state employment law

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

  • Active HR certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP

  • Strong employee relations skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues with discretion and consistency

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence without authority

Preferred

  • Experience supporting BCBA, RBT, or other licensed clinical roles in a staffing or clinical operations context

  • Familiarity with ABA-specific credentialing, BACB requirements, or CASP standards

  • Experience with Rippling (HRIS) and familiarity with tools such as Notion or Pylon

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
