MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS

  • Responsible for creating positions and requisitions for posting, and screening to find the most qualified candidates for various positions.

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for all applicants ensuring a smooth and positive experience

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and team goals

  • Drive offer process - including generating and extending offers, and closing candidates

  • Assist in facilitating new employee onboarding

  • Under limited supervision, performs professional level support activities in one or more functional areas of human resources.

  • Performs work that is varied, may be somewhat difficult in character, and requires discretion and independent judgment. Research, analyzes data, and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.

  • Provides assistance to line management and employees.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures. Prepares reports in conformance with legal requirements or organization needs.

  • Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business-related field. Two (2) years of professional experience.  Basic understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

OR

Associates degree in Human Resources or business-related field and Four (4) years of professional experience. Basic understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

OR

High School Diploma\GED and Four (6) years of professional experience. Basic understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience with Workday

Previous WTP project experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

(OFNM) Office Field Non-Manual

Performs deskwork, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operations. Arranges for and\or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal or informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting.

This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m

Must be authorized to work and remain in the United States without Amentum visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.

Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge.)

Amentum has joined with Bechtel to create an LLC, known as the Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) Join us as we make history at the Hanford Vit Plant, known as the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant. We are designing and building a one-of-a-kind facility that will turn radioactive and chemical waste left over from World War II and Cold War plutonium production into a form safe for disposal. Your efforts will help protect the nearby Columbia River and the communities, salmon, and wildlife along its shorelines throughout the Northwest.

Sitting at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima rivers near two mountain ranges, our community provides access to year-round outdoor recreation, 300 days of sun a year, more than 200 wineries within a 50-mile radius, and the amenities of large cities just a three-hour drive (or short flight) to Seattle and Portland.

       

Compensation Details:

$78,227.15 -$117,732.32
