Job Summary

HR Leave and Accommodation Analysts are responsible for administration of the Company's employee leave and disability accommodation (ADA) programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. These roles analyze information to guide employees and leaders through the company's leave and ADA processes, collaborating regularly with legal counsel on leave and ADA law compliance. The HR Leave & Accommodation Analysts are also responsible for related vendor relationships, and administration of the company's safety and workers compensation programs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • 40% Administer company disability accommodation program with focus on cases of moderate to high complexity. Maintain complete, organized case records and provide timely support to employees and leaders. Provides guidance on cases handled by more junior Analyst(s). Consults with legal counsel on complex cases.

  • 30% Follow applicable laws and company leave policies and processes to administer leave from intake to eligibility determination, obtaining required documentation, answering employee and leader questions, through to closing out the leave. Work requires strong understanding of leave laws and written company policies and procedures, reviewing and analyzing information to determine eligibility for and entitlement to leaves, adhering to legal deadlines, explaining leave entitlements and company benefits coordination, providing responsive and caring service to customers, and ensuring that all relevant information is entered and tracked in the company’s leave system (Workday). Provides guidance on cases handled by more junior Analyst(s) and consult with leader of the leave/ADA team and legal counsel on complex cases.

  • 15% Participate in developing, maintaining and improving compliant policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements. Conduct manager trainings on leave and ADA. May develop and deliver leave and ADA reporting for HR and business leaders.

  • 15% Conduct Workday leave system testing, and audits of system functionality and payroll interfaces as needed. Work with leave vendors. Assist in managing leave/ADA outlook inbox. Manages other projects and process improvements in support of leave/ADA team, and performs any other duties as assigned.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • Required experience: 2 years leave and ADA administration experience

  • Required education: High School Diploma

  • Preferred experience: Excel experience preferred. Workday experience preferred

  • Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

 

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$64,250.00 - $94,000.00
