AdAction is looking for an HR Manager to lead our People function across a growing, distributed team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and enjoys balancing strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day execution. You’ll own the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and employee experience to performance management, compliance, and offboarding—while also driving culture-building programs, employee engagement, and company events.

Own and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, compensation updates, promotions, and offboarding
Continuously improve onboarding processes to create a seamless and engaging new hire experience
Conduct exit interviews and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Track annual performance review cycles and support managers through the process
Maintain employee records, HR systems, and organizational reporting with accuracy and confidentiality
Support compliance initiatives including required trainings, policy updates, and documentation
Administer day-to-day HR operations across systems including ADP, GSuite, Slack, and related tools
Partner with leadership on employee relations, engagement, and people strategy initiatives
Lead employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programs
Plan and execute company social events, happy hours, and team-building experiences across all locations
Own logistics and execution for company retreats and in-person gatherings
Coordinate conference prep, company swag, gifting, and partner experiences
Manage Uber accounts, reporting, and event transportation logistics
Help foster and strengthen AdAction’s culture across a remote-first environment
2-3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related People & Culture role
Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management and HR best practices
Exceptional organization and project management skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and strong emotional intelligence
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP or similar systems
Experience planning internal events, retreats, or employee engagement programs is a strong plus
A proactive mindset and genuine passion for building strong teams and workplace culture
