Do you like keeping hiring organized, moving fast, and making sure good candidates don’t fall through the cracks?

Most HR roles are either too vague or too administrative.

This one is different.

At Fuelerate, you’ll support our hiring process from the moment candidates apply or reply to outreach until they reach the right interview stage.Your work will directly shape who gets in front of the team.

If you’re organized, good with people, comfortable speaking with candidates, and enjoy keeping a process clean and moving, this could be a strong fit.

About Fuelerate

Fuelerate is a growth partner for Shopify brands.

We help eCommerce companies grow through Conversion Rate Optimization, A/B Testing, high-performing design, development, and performance marketing.

We’re growing quickly, and hiring has become a major part of how we scale. This role exists to support that hiring process properly: candidate outreach, application tracking, screening, first interviews, communication, and hiring admin.

What You’ll Do

You’ll support hiring across different roles inside Fuelerate.

Your work will include:

  • source candidates through LinkedIn and other platforms using existing search criteria
  • send outreach messages and follow-ups to potential candidates
  • review applications, intro videos, portfolios, and basic candidate information
  • screen candidates against the role requirements
  • shortlist candidates who look like a good fit
  • reject candidates who are clearly not a fit using existing templates
  • schedule interviews with candidates and internal team members
  • conduct first interviews using prepared interview templates
  • take clear notes from interviews and summarize candidate fit
  • keep the hiring pipeline updated in our ATS / hiring tracker
  • communicate with hiring managers about candidate status
  • follow up with candidates so they know what is happening
  • help prepare candidates for the next step in the process
  • support onboarding handoff once someone is hired
  • keep hiring documents, trackers, and candidate information organized

You won’t be alone.

You’ll have role requirements, templates, interview structures, and guidance from the team.

But we do need someone who can take ownership of the recurring hiring work and keep things moving without needing constant reminders.

You’re a Great Fit If You Have

  • some experience in recruitment, HR support, candidate screening, sourcing, or admin work
  • clear written and spoken English
  • confidence speaking with candidates on video calls
  • strong attention to detail
  • good organization skills
  • comfort working with Google Sheets, ATS tools, ClickUp, or similar systems
  • the ability to follow a process consistently
  • good judgment when reviewing candidates
  • a professional and friendly communication style
  • the ability to handle sensitive candidate information responsibly
  • a proactive mindset: you follow up, update things, and don’t wait to be chased

Agency, start-up, remote hiring, LinkedIn sourcing, or ATS experience is a bonus, but not required if you are smart, organized, and willing to learn quickly.

This Role Is Not for You If You

  • need constant instructions for every small step
  • avoid candidate calls
  • forget to update trackers or hiring stages
  • are careless with details
  • communicate slowly or unclearly
  • find repetitive work frustrating
  • are uncomfortable rejecting candidates professionally
  • want a senior HR strategy role from day one
  • want a slow, corporate-style job with very little urgency

Why Fuelerate

  • fully remote
  • no pointless meetings
  • real responsibility from day one
  • direct exposure to hiring for a fast-growing remote team
  • clear processes and templates to work from
  • opportunity to grow into more HR/recruiting responsibility over time
  • work with a team that values ownership, speed, clarity, and high standards

Details

  • Type: Full-time
  • Location: Remote
  • Time zone: Some overlap with European working hours required
  • Reports to: Founder / Operations
  • Compensation: $1,000–$1,500/month, depending on experience, higher compensation is possible for an exceptional candidate.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
