IBM TM1 Developer
Team at a major investment bank requires a IBM TM1 Developer to join their technology and data department, which is responsible for developing Finance applications for a diverse set of businesses including Treasury, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities and Investment Banking. This group is responsible for IT systems that support the generation and substantiation of regulatory reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- We are looking for an experienced IBM TM1 developer to join the Wealth & Investment Management analytics & reporting squad. The squad is a global team with members in New York, Montreal and Mumbai and clients in Europe, Asia and North America.
- The development team is responsible for the firmwide migration from Essbase to TM1, a large-scale effort with over 50 cubes in use across Wealth Management, Investment Management & Corporate Finance Planning & Analysis.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire SDLC, have excellent communication skills and experience working directly with the business. They will need to be self-sufficient and comfortable with building internal networks, both with the business and other technology teams.
- They will be expected to own changes all the way from inception to deployment in production. In addition to implementing new functionality they will use their experience in test driven design and best practices to identify process gaps or areas for improvement with a constant focus on scalability and stability.
- Candidate should be self-motivated, results oriented and able to multi-task across with different teams and applications. Further the candidate will need to work effectively with remotely dispersed teams as the role will require constant communication across various regional teams.
Skills Required:
- 5 years of experience in developing application using IBM TM1 reporting and modeling tool.
- Should have expert knowledge of the IBM Planning and Analytics tools.
- Should have in-depth Knowledge of the Cubes design, Turbo Integrator processes, Rules engine and Scripting.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with global teams.
