About Flai

AI has transformed B2B SaaS, but it has struggled to reach the real-world industries that shape our lives. Flai is building the leading AI-native service CRM for car dealerships.

Auto dealerships are a $1.3 trillion industry and sell 96% of the 16 million new cars sold each year. Yet they still run on outdated systems and manual processes, and they spend $36B a year on operations. That’s our opportunity.

Flai is live in many hundreds of dealerships across the U.S., including more than 20% of the top 50 dealer groups. We work closely with OEMs and distributors too, and Toyota Ventures is one of our largest investors. We’ve raised over $33M from leading VCs, including First Round Capital, Toyota Ventures, Y Combinator, Innovation Endeavors, SV Angel and Liquid 2.

We’ve grown very fast with a small, scrappy team, and we keep moving at that pace.

Role Overview

We’re hiring an Implementation Manager to own the moment a dealership goes from signed to live on Flai. You’ll be in stores more weeks than not. You’ll connect Flai to the DMS, configure our AI for how each service department actually runs, train advisors, techs, and BDC teams, and stand on the service drive on launch day. You’ll work directly with the founding team. Each launch you run will feed into how we roll out across hundreds of new rooftops and OEM programs.

What You’ll Do
  • Own launches end to end: Run every go-live from kickoff to hand-off, across single rooftops and multi-store groups. You own the timeline, the integrations, the configuration, the training and launch day itself.

  • Be on-site when it matters: Travel to dealerships for go-lives, training and post-launch tune-ups. Get to know the service drive, the BDC and the people who run them.

  • Make the integrations work: Coordinate DMS and scheduler connections (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, Xtime, Dealer-FX, myKaarma and others), along with phone systems and data mapping. Troubleshoot alongside engineering until everything runs cleanly.

  • Configure Flai for each store: Turn each dealership’s hours, menus, op codes, routing rules and appointment workflow into a setup that works on day one.

  • Train for adoption, not attendance: Train service advisors, BDC agents, service managers and fixed ops directors until Flai is part of how they work every day.

  • Hit launch metrics: Own time-to-live, early adoption, and first-30-day results.

  • Hand off cleanly: Pass healthy, live accounts to Customer Success with clear notes, open items and a baseline of results.

  • Scale group and OEM rollouts: Plan and run phased rollouts across dealer groups and OEM-backed programs. Sequence stores, coordinate stakeholders and keep a dozen launches moving at once.

  • Sharpen the playbook: Follow Flai’s implementation process rigorously, and help improve it based on what you learn in each store.

  • Feed the product team: Bring back what you see in dealerships, such as integration gaps, workflow edge cases and recurring requests, so it shapes what we build next.

Must Have
  • Dealer implementation experience: 3+ years launching software in dealerships, ideally service-side: schedulers, DMS, or service lane tools.

  • Fixed ops fluency: You know how a service department runs, from the appointment to the write-up to the RO, and you can speak advisors’ language. Dealership experience is a big plus.

  • Willing to travel: You’re comfortable traveling >50% of the time, often on short notice, to dealerships across the U.S.

  • Technical comfort: You’re at ease with integrations, data mapping, configuration and troubleshooting, and you can work productively with engineers.

  • Project discipline: You keep timelines tight, track every open item and manage several launches at once without anything slipping.

  • Strong trainer and communicator: You can command a room of advisors at 7am, run a clean kickoff with a GM, and write follow-ups people actually read.

  • High ownership: A launch isn’t done until the store is using Flai and seeing results. You stay on it until then.

  • Excited to be early: You want to help build something at its earliest stage and are energized by a process that’s still evolving.

Why Flai

This is about as early as it gets. We have real traction, customers who love the product, and investors who’ve backed some of the best companies in the world betting big on us. You’ll be part of one of the most exciting build-outs in AI right now, in an industry that’s about to look completely different because of what we’re building. The launches you run over the next 12 months will set the standard for how Flai goes live in every store after them. We move fast and we have fun doing it. Come be part of the story while it’s still being written.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
