Cornerstone is looking for an Implementation Manager with a Mortgage origination background to oversee all aspects of projects and post-project implementation support. This person will be accountable for delivering small to large-scale projects through the full lifecycle, from requirements to deployment/completion using appropriate analytical and project management tools and techniques.

The Implementation Manager is responsible for setting deadlines, assigning duties, monitoring and summarizing progress of projects. Lead and direct the work of others. Utilize a wide degree of creativity and latitude to support diverse project/implementation set of deliverables. Familiar with a variety of the implementation concepts, practices and procedures to enable application of intended outcomes. Collaborate with leadership to build upon existing experience and judgment to plan, execute, and accomplish goals. Work cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization to execute projects on-time and within budget. Ensure post-implementation support and adoption is maintained for overall success. Other responsibilities include:

  1. Work closely with key Stakeholders, Cornerstone Departments, third party vendors, and SME's to execute a variety of project/implementation efforts.
  2. Lead small to large-scale project teams through the full project lifecycle from requirements definition through development, testing, and implementation using a combination of agile and other methodologies.
  3. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  4. Manage multiple priorities and provide work direction for small to large­scale project teams, including establishing and maintaining supporting work product.
  5. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with senior business unit management, business partners, project sponsors, as well as communicating effectively with business and development teams, end users, and product owners.
  6. Participate in change management and process improvement initiatives, as well as provide recommendations to improve/enhance existing procedures, controls, and project delivery methods.
  7. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  8. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  9. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  10. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  11. Report and escalate to management as needed.
  12. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  13. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Skills and knowledge required:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a business or related field.
  2. 15 years of Project Management experience, preferably in delivering Technology solutions to business units.
  3. Prefer 10 years in the Mortgage Industry such as Closing, Compliance, and/or Origination.
  4. Proven work experience in project/implementation management.
  5. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  9. Business analysis and documentation skills, including demonstrated use of common business analysis tools and techniques.
  10. Prefer strong computer skills with tools like MS Visio and Atlassian's JIRA and Confluence products.
  11. Demonstrate ability to effectively present statuses, challenges, and recommended solutions.
  12. Demonstrate ability to engage and manage multiple project initiatives simultaneously.
  13. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  14. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
