Job Application Deadline: 05/31/2026

Candidate profile

As an Implementation Manager at DAT within the Convoy Platform organization, you will own the execution and delivery of multiple high-volume API integrations for customers and partners. This role is focused on hands-on implementation management—coordinating people, systems, timelines, and technical details to ensure integrations are delivered reliably, repeatedly, and at scale.

You will serve as the primary driver of API implementations, working closely with engineering, sales, customer success, and technical teams to move integrations from contract signature to go-live. You’ll manage multiple integrations concurrently, remove blockers, keep stakeholders aligned, and ensure customers are successfully launched and supported.

This role requires strong technical fluency, exceptional execution skills, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and delivery timelines matter.

What You’ll Do

API Implementation & Delivery Management

  • Own end-to-end execution of customer and partner API integrations, from technical kickoff through go-live and post-launch stabilization.
  • Manage multiple concurrent integrations, balancing timelines, scope, and dependencies across customers and partners.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and TMS partners during implementation.
  • Translate integration requirements into clear execution plans, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering teams to design, implement, test, and deploy API integrations.
  • Drive integration testing, validation, and launch readiness, ensuring data quality and functional correctness.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and take ownership of resolution to keep deliveries on track.
  • Ensure consistent, repeatable implementation processes by documenting workflows, standards, and best practices.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to align on scope, timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Act as the connective tissue between customers, partners, product, and engineering during implementation.
  • Facilitate regular status updates, technical reviews, and launch readiness checkpoints with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support pre-sales technical scoping as needed to ensure implementation feasibility and accurate delivery timelines.

Operational Excellence & Scaling Integrations

  • Improve implementation efficiency by identifying opportunities to standardize, automate, and streamline integration workflows.
  • Track implementation progress, throughput, and delivery metrics to ensure predictable execution.
  • Create and maintain implementation documentation, runbooks, and onboarding materials for customers and partners.
  • Provide internal training and enablement on API capabilities, integration patterns, and implementation processes.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure technical alignment and on-time delivery.
  • Manage vendor and partner dependencies that impact implementation timelines.
  • Evaluate partner readiness and integration approaches to support scalable delivery.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical implementation management, technical project management, solutions engineering, or integration delivery roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience working with APIs, including integration workflows, troubleshooting, and go-live support.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, data flows, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with EDI, middleware, data mapping, validation, and interoperability
  • Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous integrations with competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with a track record of delivering complex technical projects on time.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) in an implementation or delivery context.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience integrating with or supporting Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or trucking industry workflows.
  • Experience scaling implementation processes in a high-growth or platform environment.
