Are you ready to unlock your true potential? Join a growing and global company where you can be part of a team that fuels supply chain solutions. Discover how you can make a big impact.
Our B2B Gateway Services team is expanding and we're looking for a driven Implementation Specialist II to join us. In this role, you'll own complex EDI integration projects from kickoff to go-live — serving as the primary point of contact for customers and delivering solutions that keep global supply chains moving.
As an Implementation Specialist II, you'll manage projects independently, guide customers through complex onboarding steps, and ensure successful deployments with confidence and precision. This is a unique hybrid role that blends implementation and integration work, giving you broad visibility into how trading partners, ERPs, and EDI systems interact — and the chance to build deep expertise in a specialized, high-demand space.
We value our employees with competitive benefits and generous paid time off packages, flexible and casual work environments, career development, recognition programs, and more!
This role is a remote opportunity (US-based, East Coast hours preferred).
What You'll Do:
- Lead software implementation for mid-size EDI integration projects within the B2B Gateway platform
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation, managing the full project lifecycle from intake through go-live with greater autonomy
- Manage a portfolio of 20–30 concurrent projects and clients with minimal supervision, completing a minimum of 5 projects per month
- Coordinate activities across customers, trading partners, and internal teams — including the mapper team — to ensure timely delivery
- Facilitate EDI and integration testing, including troubleshooting mapping changes through our in-house project management system
- Configure solutions to meet nuanced business requirements and validate functionality for Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers
- Conduct phone calls and facilitate weekly or bi-weekly customer status meetings
- Proactively identify and resolve implementation issues; escalate only when necessary
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely project completion
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer expectations and aggressive timelines
- Provide proactive status updates and maintain accurate project data in our project management tools
- Assist in mentoring Level I specialists and contribute to process improvements based on hands-on experience
- Flex into the support queue during low-volume implementation periods to support the broader team
Requirements for Success:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 2–4 years of experience in EDI implementation, technical support, or client onboarding
- Advanced understanding of EDI concepts and trading partner requirements
- Experience with ERP business systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with a strong sense of ownership from start to finish
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills — comfortable on the phone, in email, and leading customer meetings
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle a high volume of active projects
- High sense of urgency, initiative, and accountability
- Familiarity with EDI providers such as TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, Orderful, or similar highly customizable integration platforms is a strong plus
Perks & Benefits:
- Remote-first and casual work environment
- 401(k) with 3.5% company match, vested after 2 years
- 20 PTO days + 1 birthday day off + 1 volunteer day + 11 company holidays
- Medical, dental, vision, and other life/health insurance plans
- Paid parental leave
- Wellness reimbursement program
