Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 - 5:30pm EST for the first 3 weeks.
Shift details: 12:30-9pm EST, Monday - Friday.
PLUS One weekend (Saturday & Sunday) a month (10-7pm EST) on a rotating schedule
On the week you work weekend, you will be given 2 days off during the week to compensate for the weekend work. (not necessarily consecutive.)
Candidates that are within 50 miles and commutable to a MetLife office will be required in-office 1x per month.
Requirement: Candidates must have an active Property & Casualty License (not personal lines), in their home state and the ability to obtain all 50 states after hire.

- Build strong knowledge of products and services offered.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 plus years sales experience
- Proven attendance reliability.
- Flexible schedule requirements, with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Possession of an active Property and Casualty insurance license in home state - required prior to hire
- The ability to obtain 50 states as a condition of employment.
Preferred:
- Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment.
- Insurance industry sales experience
- Service industry and/or Contact Center experience
- Ability to operate in a fast-pace, multi-tasking environment with deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills.
- Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections.
- Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail.
- Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet.
