The Industry Principal leads and drives strategic initiatives within their specified industry vertical. Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but not limited to the following:


Industry Expertise:

·        Provide thought leadership and deep industry insights.

·        Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

·        Develop and implement industry-specific strategies.

Business Development:

·        Identify and pursue business opportunities within the industry.

·        Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

·        Support sales teams with industry-specific knowledge to drive sales growth.

Solution Development:

·        Lead the development of the industry offer strategy to inform 3-year product roadmap opportunities.

·        Ensure solutions meet industry standards and customer expectations.

·        Advocate for industry-specific product enhancements and features.

Marketing and Outreach:

·        Collaborate with the marketing team to develop industry-specific marketing campaigns.

·        Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars.

·        Create and deliver compelling presentations and thought leadership content.

·        Lead the industry track and customer engagement at Seeq’s Conneqt conference.

Customer Engagement:

·        Build trusted advisor relationships with key executive stakeholders at customer accounts.

·        Engage with customers to understand their needs and challenges.

·        Provide consultancy and advisory services to key accounts.

·        Gather feedback to influence product development and strategy.

Qualifications


Education & Certification:

·        Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.

·        Proven track record of working within the specified industry.

·        Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and teams.

Experience:

·        15+ years of industry experience in oil and gas companies or technology providers for the industry.

·        Strong knowledge of oil and gas regulatory requirements in North America and Europe.

·        Strong knowledge of operational use cases in oil and gas.

·        Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a software or technology solutions environment (e.g., energy management, industrial analytics, or digital transformation initiatives).

Experience in data analytics, AI, or industrial IoT technologies in the

·        context of oil and gas is highly preferred.

·        Familiarity with Seeq's capabilities or similar industrial analytics platforms is a plus.

·        Previous experience in managing, deploying, or supporting enterprise technology solutions is preferred.

Communication:

·        Effective communication skills and presentation skills, especially to executive levels internally, directly to customers, and at company sponsored events.

·        Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support other departments.

Organizational Skills:

·        Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·        Ability to maintain a high level of engagement in a remote environment while working with teams across all time zones.

Personal Attributes:

·        A strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term goals.

·        Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, internal teams, and industry influencers.

·        Self-starter, highly motivated, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

·        Passionate about driving innovation and solving complex problems within the oil and gas sector.

·        Ability and willingness to travel at least 15%, including internationally.
