About the role
The Invoice Management Specialist is responsible for validating carrier invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, and resolving documentation discrepancies in a timely manner. This role supports transportation operations by maintaining precise financial documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and preventing repeat billing issues through process improvements.
What you'll do
- Validate carrier invoices against lane rates and SLA rules.
- Ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies on time.
- Review transportation documents and maintain proper billing records.
- Coordinate with finance, carriers, and operations to close billing issues.
- Support process improvements to prevent repeat billing errors.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, finance support, or transportation documentation.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with billing validation workflows.
- High attention to detail and good understanding of transportation documents.
- Strong ownership, disciplined work habits, and good communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues efficiently.
