We are seeking a high-performing Inside Sales Representative–to drive pipeline creation, outbound prospecting, and relationship development across multiple strategic vendor platforms. This role requires a proactive, collaborative sales professional with experience in enterprise software, cybersecurity, and observability tools.
As an integral part of the sales engine, you will work closely with teams across Tanium and other OEMs, including SDRs, DSAs, RVPs, Sales, Marketing, and other business development units, to identify, qualify, and create over 100 licensed sales opportunities per year.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales Certifications & Enablement:
- Maintain active certifications with at least 5 OEM vendors (e.g., Tanium, Splunk, Cribl, CrowdStrike, Elastic, or others as mutually agreed).
- Tanium focused experience
- Stay up to date on vendor roadmaps, sales programs, and joint value propositions.
- Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Creation:
- Proactively generate 100+ qualified license sales opportunities annually through outbound efforts, collaboration with internal teams, and vendor campaigns.
- Engage in daily outreach activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) to drive engagement and build pipeline.
- Onsite Collaboration & Relationship Building:
- Spend a minimum of 3 days per week onsite
- Attend and support business development events with various internal stakeholders (SDR, DSA, Sales, RVPs, and Marketing teams).
- Participate in cold calling sessions, sales blitzes, and in-person team meetings to drive alignment and results.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Familiarity with partner sales models and channel enablement strategies.
- Technical aptitude or comfort working with security and observability solutions.
- 2+ years in an inside sales, business development, or channel sales role—preferably in cybersecurity, observability, or enterprise software.
- Strong outbound calling experience with proven success in lead qualification and pipeline creation.
- Experience working with or selling through OEM vendors like Tanium, Splunk, Cribl, CrowdStrike, and Elasticis highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain and pass vendor certification programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-activity sales environment.
