Role Overview

You will lead the development of insights and storytelling and own the data analysis and reporting phases of our work, and will work for the Health Insurance team within Financial Services. You would be accountable for:

  • Presenting insights that address the client or industry’s needs.
  • Proper application of analytical techniques & tools
  • Creating client-ready materials on time
  • Sound process & integrity of insights

We also have a development path that encourages continual growth. The progression steps include Associate, Insights Analyst, Senior Insights Analyst, Insights Manager, Senior Insights Manager, and Director of Insights. There is a parallel path of roles called Project Management that focuses on project logistics, timing and budget.

The Salary Range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000. If this is not the right level for you, please check out our other postings. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input regarding the study design and the best research technique(s) to utilize for projects.
  • Develop surveys/questionnaires to answer client objectives.
  • Ensure quality of and approve programmed questionnaires, including communication with the programmer or programming vendor.
  • Analyze research results and collaborate with the Client Management team members to interpret research findings and implications.
  • Write reports or prepare deliverables that add value to the client by relating the research findings to the business objectives in a manner that is clear, presentable and actionable

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in business, market analysis, or market research
  • Proficiency in at least 1 data analysis package (e.g., SPSS)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in business, market analysis, or market research, preferably in the Financial Services vertical
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic statistics, research procedures, and survey methodologies
  • High proficiency in SPSS data analysis package
  • Prior experience with data mapping, troubleshooting data that doesn’t make sense, weighting data, etc.
  • Prior experience interfacing with project team members and client contacts directly
  • Exceptional ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
