KlearNow is building the intelligence layer for global trade and logistics. We turn fragmented, messy data into instant, reliable intelligence, enabling AI to reason and act in high-stakes, real-world environments. We are a small, sharp team operating at the frontier, and we are looking for builders who want to define the technical foundation from the ground up.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Intermodal Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, multimodal environment and brings the operational know-how to match. You'll work alongside a skilled team, supported by a proprietary platform built for speed and visibility, to keep complex shipments moving and customers informed.
This role blends high-volume operational execution with an administrative backbone, keeping data clean, documentation tight, and nothing falling through the cracks.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, schedule, and execute drayage moves — port pickups, rail ramp transfers, transloads, and last-mile deliveries — across a high-volume, multimodal shipment portfolio
- Manage container free time, chassis availability, demurrage, and detention exposure across multiple terminals and steamship lines with a sharp eye on cost
- Draw on multimodal experience to coordinate across carrier networks and deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers — proactive communication, real-time exception management, and consistent follow-through
- Leverage our proprietary platform, third-party TMS, and ThoughtSpot analytics to track shipments, surface insights, and stay ahead of exceptions
- Review, audit, and dispute carrier invoices including accessorials, demurrage, and per diem with precision and documentation to back it up
- Perform key administrative functions: maintain shipment records, manage documentation workflows, generate daily exception and KPI reports, and ensure data integrity across systems
- Support carrier onboarding, carrier coordination, and relationship development
- Proprietary Platform — Purpose-built for all-mode operations
- ThoughtSpot — AI-driven business intelligence and reporting
- Third-party TMS — Load management and dispatch
- Microsoft Excel — Reporting and operational tracking
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years in logistics operations with direct drayage experience and a strong multimodal background
- Solid grasp of port and terminal operations, intermodal rail networks, and steamship line processes
- Proven ability to manage demurrage, detention, per diem, and accessorial disputes with documentation and follow-through
- Experience working with CBP, customs brokers, and freight forwarders on import/export shipments
- Comfortable in a multi-system environment; TMS proficiency required, analytics tool experience (ThoughtSpot, Power BI, or similar) a strong plus
- Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, and building clean operational trackers from scratch
- Strong administrative instincts: organized, accurate, and process-minded with a low tolerance for data errors
- Communicates clearly and confidently with customers, carriers, and internal teams
- UIIA familiarity and chassis provider experience preferred

- Equity
- Flexible Time Off
- A collaborative, fast-paced operations team with room to grow
- Growth: Real career trajectory within a fast-growing, tech-forward logistics company
