What you'll do
- Support the planning and execution of operational audits across various departments (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Sales, Customer Support, HR, etc.) under the guidance of senior audit team members.
- Participate in process walkthroughs and assist in performing risk assessments and control testing to evaluate design and operating effectiveness.
- Help document audit observations, identify potential control gaps, and contribute to the development of practical recommendations.
- Assist in drafting clear and concise audit deliverables, including working papers and sections of audit reports.
- Work with business stakeholders to clarify findings and support the tracking of remediation actions.
- Leverage data analysis tools, automation, or AI where appropriate to support audit procedures and enhance insights.
- Stay informed about company operations and emerging risks relevant to internal audit work.
- Contribute to special projects, advisory reviews, investigations, and the ongoing improvement of audit processes.
- Report to the Internal Audit Senior Director.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- 2+ years of auditing, accounting, or finance experience
- Foundational knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to quickly understand complex processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Curiosity, integrity, and a drive to deliver high-impact results.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- CPA, CIA, or CISA certification (or progress toward) is a plus.
