AYTM is growing rapidly and is looking for a highly skilled Account Manager with experience working the international market in a market research consultive sales position (SaaS a plus). You’ll have direct experience and demonstrate success partnering with market research clients to build relationships and win their business, counseling them to help achieve their objectives and thereby building their loyalty.

This is an exciting consultive sales experience working with a seasoned team here at aytm and an established client base. aytm offers a flexible work environment. We are a 100% remote, which means you’ll be working from a home office. While being a zero-emission commute and providing you with an amazing level of freedom, convenience, and flexibility, it requires a certain inner discipline and capacity to be effective at a distance. If you’re up for it, you can be sure we’ll provide you the tools and connections that enable you to do great work! Some travel will be expected to local clients and events throughout the year.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Experience:
    Applicants must
    have 3-5 years’ direct experience in an account management position within the insights industry or comparable experience within a company managing research projects on the supplier side is a must.
     Market research Industry experience is non-negotiable and applications that do not include this will not be considered.
    Please do not apply if you haven’t worked in the research industry in this capacity. Experience in CPG Research Sales is a plus. Is knowledgeable in quantitative research methodologies in a SaaS environment.
  • Revenue Quota: Minimum 3-5 years of experience holding and surpassing a $2mm+ quota in the SaaS and/or MRx world. Must have direct quantitative market research experience and be highly knowledgeable of methodologies. Be a highly disciplined, self-motivated individual who can point to objective measures of success in building relationships to closing sales, achieving revenue targets, and nurturing accounts to build and grow repeat business. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within target organizations to facilitate long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Understand quantitative research methodologies to translate what a client asks for into what plan/methodology fits their objectives, advising clients (with the help of the research experts when appropriate) on approaches that help them achieve their research project needs and business objectives.
  • Team Player: Have friendly and constructive manner of interacting with clients and internal teams, characterized by outstanding verbal and written communication, and by doing so contribute to a culture of openness, friendliness, and respect. This is held in high regard at aytm; teamwork is critical to our overall success.
  • Integrity & Trust: Be a person of trustworthiness and integrity with a strong work ethic and a superior team player.
  • Be Well Organized: Must have superior time management skills and the ability to work effectively and independently in a 100% remote environment.
  • Sales Process Management: Lead the sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring a thorough understanding of client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with marketing, product development, solution strategy, and customer success teams to align on strategy and deliver exceptional value to clients.

Technical Skills/Experience:


  • MS office including Excel, PPT and Outlook experience needed
  • Experience with Google collaboration tools
  • CRM user experience needed, but Salesforce.com experience a plus
  • Asana experience a plus
  • Slack experience a plus
  • Comfortable working 100% remote, experience working remotely a plus
  • Travel experience and flexibility for in person meetings
  • Multi-lingual is a plus
