Blue Origin is seeking graduate interns for future internship cohorts. Interns utilize academic, project, and degree program foundations to perform professional level work in support of the functional area assigned. The internship is 12 to 15 weeks. 

The formal application window for summer 2025 internships has closed, but we encourage candidates to submit applications for consideration of any future roles.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. 

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship. 

  • Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application.

  • Available to work full time for a minimum of 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework. 

  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Passion for space. 

 

Desired:

  • Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills relevant to the internship as well as leadership qualities. 

  • Hands-on project experience 

  • Co-curricular engagement. 

The compensation for on-site WA, CO, and CA applicants is between $34.17 and $38 hourly.
