We are seeking a reliable and proactive IT Generalist to support the day-to-day technology needs of the organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, supporting end users, managing hardware and software deployments, and ensuring secure and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is a versatile problem-solver who can work across multiple IT disciplines including helpdesk support, systems administration, network troubleshooting, and IT security best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for employees across hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, productivity tools, and internal applications.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes including account provisioning and device setup.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Maintain and monitor company systems, endpoints, and IT infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems.
- Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance.
Hardware & Device Management
- Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle management for company devices.
- Coordinate hardware repairs, replacements, and warranty support.
Networking
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure including routers, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network performance issues.
Security & Compliance
- Follow and help enforce IT security policies and best practices.
- Support endpoint security tools, device encryption, and access management.
- Assist with security monitoring and incident response where required.
Documentation
- Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and IT support guides.
IT Operations
- Support IT projects such as system implementations, upgrades, or office expansions.
- Collaborate with vendors and external IT providers when necessary.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and/or macOS environments.
- Experience with user management tools such as Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Preferred
- Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.).
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
