Position Summary:ThermoFisher Scientific is seeking an IT PMO Analyst Administrator within our Global IT PMO. The primary goal of the position is to support our Project, Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) tools and processes, associated reporting, dashboards, and data management. This position will support the identification and development of solutions and processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and make continuous improvements within a multi-methodology IT organization. The role will provide data analysis, insights, and communications that support global IT.
Responsibilities:- Support the development of standard IT program management and governance practices
- Discover opportunities for IT process standardization, document findings and recommendations
- Be an active member of the Global IT PMO team, to successfully roll-out project management tools and features across various methodologies
- Provide analysis and reporting on data quality across the portfolios
- Establish meaningful metrics to track data and PMO maturity over time
- Provide administration support for our Planview Portfolios (EPPM) and AgilePlace tools, as one of the Global Administrators.
- Day to day support, including data entry, process governance and related activities
- Assist in the creation, maintenance and presentation of technical training content
- Ability to work independently and within a multi-functional team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related subject preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role
- PPM and/or Agile tool administration experience required
- Planview specific product experience is an advantage
- Understanding of Power BI and proficient in producing effective reports
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to get involved to support a wide range of internal customers and be a change champion as part of the Global IT PMO team
- Desire to contribute and improve design of new and existing processes and tools and willing to learn and expand knowledge
- Detail oriented with strong organization and planning skills
