The IT Resource Manager manages a team of resources that assist Technical Product Owners in meeting their staffing needs based on defined goals and objectives. This allows Technical Product Owners to focus on operational and strategic planning and business relationships, and it enables the IT Resource Manager a dedicated focus to the sourcing of key resources driven by business need. They utilize data-driven strategies to acquire, build, develop, and deploy IT resources devoted to delivering technologies and products leveraged across the organization and will be responsible for advocating and building a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation and continuous learning, as well as talent strategy and career pathing.

This person will,

  • Serves as direct supervisor for IT resources within specified area of responsibility. Maintains an appropriately sized and skilled resource pool, and deploys resources into the organization; aligning the right resource to the right team within budget and financial targets. Identifying resource swapping opportunities to aid in the delivery of business value. Monitors resource utilization and workload, and reallocating resources, adjusting goals or assigning additional resources.

  • Manages, supports, advocates and retains existing resources. Develops resources utilizing coaching, continuous feedback, 1:1's and goal setting. Identifies and provides specific opportunities for growth, investment, and development of professional craftsmanship.

  • Engages, builds relationships and trust with Technical Product Owners. Identifies and resolves conflict, project issues, resources productivity and performance concerns quickly and efficiently.

  • Develops recruiting capability in partnership with identified talent acquisition partner that enables IT within specified area of responsibility to forecast, source, acquire and develop top tier resources to maximize the delivery of business value. Conducts new hire interviews, facilitating hiring decisions and building relationships with sourcing partners.

  • Works intimately with Director of Technology Advancement & Outreach and cross functional partners to broaden channels for IT resource hiring, leveraging various platforms and external programs to identify candidates and maintain a healthy pipeline of candidates. Design and implement short and long-term recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques. Actively participates in resource related initiatives, special projects and events.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Technology Advancement & Outreach in development and management of technical skills development programs.

Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience Required

Experience

  • 4-7 years Business, IT, and/or Human Resources. Required

  • 4-7 years Leadership. Required

$94,360.00 - $161,760.00 per year
