Job Description

The Ivantage Relationship Management Senior Consultant II is a highly visible, strategic individual contributor role responsible for managing key personal lines carrier relationships, with a primary focus on Florida insurance markets. This role supports the day-to-day and long-term success of assigned partners while serving as a trusted representative of Ivantage in interactions with senior carrier leaders, internal sales teams, and agency partners.
The Senior Consultant II operates with significant autonomy, leading carrier discussions, contract negotiations, and performance reviews, while using data and product expertise to support Ivantage’s growth and ability to help agencies say “yes” more often for Allstate customers.

About Ivantage

Ivantage has been supporting  agencies and Allstate customers for over 30 years, with a mission centered around providing market access, product solutions, and carrier relationships that help agencies meet customer needs. • Represent Ivantage’s interests in daily interactions with carrier leadership to resolve issues, identify opportunities, and grow the book of business.

  • Act as a single point of contact for Ivantage teams and external partners for day-to-day carrier and program management.

Florida Market & Product Expertise

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Florida insurance market, including capacity, regulatory trends, and carrier appetite.

  • Lead and support contract negotiations, including fee structures and rate-related components, working closely with procurement and leadership.

  • Maintain and manage expanded market agreements, monitoring compliance and performance over time.

Performance Management & Analytics

  • Proactively monitor carrier performance against Ivantage and Allstate expectations for production, growth, product availability, and service quality.

  • Use reporting and data analysis (including Excel-based analysis and pivot tables) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Drive decisions using data and insights, not gut instinct, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Identify emerging issues and recommend remediation strategies to support long-term success and acceleration of results.

Internal Collaboration & Leadership Exposure

  • Work closely with Ivantage Sales, Agency Engagement, Reporting, and Leadership teams on a daily basis.

  • Support escalation and resolution of complex issues including commissions, reporting discrepancies, or operational challenges.

  • Participate in in-person carrier events, roadshows, and team offsites as part of Ivantage’s leadership presence in the market.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization and take on special initiatives with limited direction from senior leadership.

Role Scope & Visibility

  • Highly visible role with regular exposure to senior internal leadership and external carrier executives.

  • Significant autonomy and decision-making authority within assigned partnerships.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
