About the role:

We're looking for an ambitious, creative, and data-driven Growth Marketing Fellow to join the Jona family as we grow at lightning speed. You'll work closely with our Head of Marketing alongside our Commercial, Sales, and Product teams to communicate Jona's vision to the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media & Content Creation: Support and execute our social media strategy — producing content in Canva, drafting sharp copy and creating video reels. Detail-oriented and creative, with a strong eye for brand consistency and an appetite for experimentation.

  • Conferences & Events: Support the planning and execution of Jona's presence at industry conferences and events — managing booth setup, branded materials, and logistics with precision and care.

  • Brand Partnerships: Support and help grow our network of partners across functional medicine, longevity, and wellness — maximizing existing relationships and identifying and onboarding new ones.

  • Data, Insights & AI Tools: Support performance tracking and marketing reporting. Stays current on the AI marketing landscape and proactively experiments with emerging tools to improve team output.

  • Research & Admin: Keep the team organized and informed — conducting research, tracking projects, coordinating timelines, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in growth marketing or a related role (digital health, wellness or startup experience a plus)

  • Natural content creator — fluent in Canva, short-form video and social copywriting

  • Familiar with digital marketing tools (e.g., Later, Klaviyo, Meta, Google Analytics)

  • Curious about AI marketing tools and eager to experiment

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented — comfortable with research and admin

  • A go-getter and team player — positive, fast learner and energizing to work with

What You’ll Gain

  • Real ownership from day one — your content, ideas and organizational work will have a direct impact on how Jona shows up in the world

  • A front-row seat to building a fast-growing digital health brand, working closely with senior leadership across marketing, commercial and product

  • The chance to grow your skills across social, events, partnerships and emerging AI tools — all in one role

Why Join Jona:

  • Make a Mark: Help define customer success at a mission-driven, science-backed startup.

  • Grow with Us: Build relationships with leading physicians and health-conscious consumers.

  • Competitive Compensation: Includes salary and meaningful equity.

  • Full Benefits:

    • Medical, Dental & Vision: Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents. This includes medical, dental, and vision premiums as well as a company-contributed HSA/FSA.

    • Retirement Matching: Jona has a 401k plan that offers company matching for dollars you contribute.

    • Jona's vacation policy is to take vacation. We operate on a Freedom and Responsibility model of unlimited PTO.

    • Equity: We offer meaningful equity ownership, allowing team members to share directly in the long-term success of Jona.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
