About the role

One of RubyLab's portfolio companies is hiring a Junior Data Analyst to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing team. In this role, you will support our data analytics efforts by assisting with reporting, data maintenance, and basic analysis under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining existing dashboards and reports.

  • Help with data collection, cleaning, and preparation.

  • Run predefined queries and generate regular reports.

  • Support senior analysts in user behavior analysis.

  • Perform basic trend analysis on existing data sets.

  • Help monitor key metrics and flag any significant changes.

  • Assist in documenting data models and reports.

  • Learn from and collaborate with the broader data team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Math, Data Science, Economics, or related field.

  • At least 1 year of experience in data analysis or a related role.

  • Basic SQL knowledge with eagerness to develop advanced skills.

  • Familiarity with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Looker, or similar).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and receive feedback.

  • Basic understanding of data visualization principles.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.

Nice to have
  • Basic knowledge of product analytics.

  • Familiarity with tools like Mixpanel, GA4, or Amplitude.

  • Basic understanding of Python or R.

  • Knowledge of statistical concepts.

  • Experience with spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Strong communication skills in English.

  • Interest in Game Analytics.

  • Experience with any kind of data-driven business.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
