Lead creation of technical content (blogs, guides, whitepapers, videos) about generative AI and code generation; ensure technical accuracy; present confidently on camera; mentor content writers; collaborate with product and engineering; analyze content performance and iterate.
The summary above was generated by AI

We’re looking for a Lead AI Code Generation Evangelist who combines engineering expertise with strong communication skills and on-camera confidence. You’ll create technical video and text content describing technology topics in relation to Generative AI. You’ll shape our technical voice, ensure accuracy across all materials, and represent the brand publicly through video content as well.

About codeCake.ai

codeCake helps us, ourselves, and other companies to solve the negative ROI problem as described here: https://codecake.ai/does-using-ai-for-code-generation-actually-save-time/ : if you just use tools like Claude Code, you’ll spend more time fixing the code compared to if you were to write it without AI from scratch. This is what codeCake helps to solve. You start with an end-to-end test case representing missing functionality or a bug, and it will iterate until the test case turns from red to green.

About the Company

testRigor is a company that builds a plain-English-based end-to-end testing system and codeCake to use that system to generate code.

As a company, we value new ideas, speed, and things being organized well.

About the Team

We’re growing quickly and expanding our marketing team to match that momentum. Marketing at testRigor isn’t disconnected from the product - it’s deeply technical, hands-on, and closely aligned with engineering. We focus on educating the market, building trust with technical audiences, and setting a high bar for accuracy and clarity.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast-moving team that values ownership, clear thinking, and strong execution. If you enjoy translating complex ideas into compelling content and want to play a visible role in a growing AI company, this is the place to do it.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Own the creation of high-quality technical content: blog posts, guides, whitepapers, case studies, and scripts
  • Translate complex Engineering concepts into clear, engaging content
  • Develop and maintain a consistent technical voice across platforms
  • Analyze content performance and continuously improve topics, formats, and messaging

Video & Public Presence

  • Record educational and thought leadership videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Present confidently on camera (no editing required - production support provided)
  • Turn previously written content into video-first content where appropriate

Technical Accuracy & Quality Control

  • Perform quality checks on all technical content
  • Review, edit, and refine written materials to ensure technical accuracy and brand consistency
  • Validate examples, workflows, and claims from an engineering perspective

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of content writers
  • Provide structured feedback and raise the quality bar across the team
  • Work closely with multiple departments to align messaging with product capabilities
  • Help define the technical content roadmap
What is it for you
  1. Options in the company that change how companies build software
  2. Ability to work in a leading role in a dynamic startup environment
  3. Ability to express yourself publicly and talk about exciting topics
How to Apply

If this role sounds like a fit, we’d love to see your work and understand how you think.

To move forward, please include the following:

  • A writing sample (preferably focused on engineering or developer tools)
  • Links to any video content where you present on camera
    • If you don’t have one, record a short 2–3 minute video introducing yourself and explaining an engineering concept
  • A brief note (300–500 words) outlining how you would improve our current technical content and what you would prioritize in your first 60 days
  • A short summary of your engineering background, including the types of systems, tools, or teams you’ve worked with
  • A video where you describe ideas from https://codecake.ai/does-using-ai-for-code-generation-actually-save-time/,

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, holds a high-quality bar, and is comfortable being both the technical authority and the public voice of the brand.

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
  • Deep understanding of software testing concepts, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and iterate strategically
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy
Nice to Have
  • Experience building a technical brand or growing a content channel
  • SEO knowledge and content distribution experience
  • Familiarity with developer-focused audiences

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
