About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Well-Architected is a strategic program dedicated to the success of architects. Architects are the trusted advisors and technical leaders who design and build complex, transformative solutions for our customers. Our mission is to empower, inspire, and enable the global architect community – from aspiring professionals to seasoned Salesforce Architects and Enterprise Architects at the world's largest companies.

Salesforce Well-Architected provides the framework, best practices, and patterns architects need to build trusted, scalable, and resilient solutions. We engage with the community to understand their needs, amplify best practices through compelling content and events, and establish a feedback loop that channels their input directly into the development and evolution of the Salesforce platform.

Who You Are:

You're an experienced architect with a passion for architectural excellence, knowledge sharing, and community engagement. You think in terms of systems, patterns, and long-term value. You have a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable guidance. You're just as comfortable whiteboarding an integration strategy as you are writing a blog post, presenting to a large audience, or facilitating a feedback session with senior technologists.

You thrive on connecting with people, understanding their challenges, and helping them succeed.

You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:
  • Contribute to Well-Architected Strategy: Partner with internal teams to define our content strategy. You'll provide a "community lens" for content review, ensuring its clarity, relevance, and practical applicability for architects. You'll also proactively identify emerging architectural trends and content gaps to inform future development.

  • Evangelize the Framework: Create and deliver compelling content (blogs, videos, workshops, and technical demos) that brings the Salesforce Well-Architected Framework to life, making it accessible and practical for architects.

  • Shape the Architect Experience at Events: Own and deliver architect tracks at major Salesforce events like Dreamforce, TDX, and World Tours. This includes delivering engaging sessions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities for architects.

  • Engage the Community: Evangelize Well-Architected at community events. Update, maintain, and deliver Well-Architected workshops, and enable community ambassadors to deliver these workshops. Engage the architect community across our architect channels.

  • Champion the Voice of the Architect: Establish and manage a robust feedback loop. Organize and run the Architect Advisory Board to ensure community needs, pain points, and insights are effectively communicated to our product, engineering, and content teams.

  • Partner with our CIO Team: Develop and deliver targeted content and events for Enterprise Architects at our most strategic customers.

We're Excited About You Because You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience in a technology role, with significant experience as a solution or enterprise architect.

  • A deep understanding of architectural principles and frameworks, and experience designing and building complex, scalable, and secure solutions on the Salesforce Platform and beyond.

  • Proven experience creating and delivering high-quality technical content, such as blog posts, videos, or public speaking engagements.

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with an ability to make complex technical concepts accessible to diverse audiences.

  • A passion for community building and a strong understanding of how to engage technical audiences through various channels.

  • The ability to be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities, while also being a highly collaborative team player who builds strong cross-functional relationships.

  • A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).

Bonus Skills:
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect).

  • Experience with industry-standard architectural frameworks (e.g., AWS Well-Architected, TOGAF).

  • Experience running or contributing to a technical community or user group.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
