Job Description

Contingent Upon Contract Award

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to serve as a top‑level technical contributor with deep expertise across the full lifecycle of IT applications and infrastructure. This role is responsible for evaluating current operations, identifying gaps against industry best practices, and developing actionable plans to drive modernization and process improvement. The Lead Analyst will also provide strategic technical guidance to project teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into system solutions.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Document existing business operations, workflows, and technical practices across applications and infrastructure. 
  • Analyze current processes against recognized industry and IT best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement. 
  • Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to guide the evolution of systems, processes, and operational maturity. 
  • Serve as a senior member of a cross‑functional team, providing expert insight into the business implications of applying new or enhanced systems. 
  • Support the full lifecycle of IT initiatives, from requirements and design through implementation and sustainment. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system solutions align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and operational needs. 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements 

  • Must have an active Secret clearance. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant business or technical field 
  • Agile certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferably with an Agile focus), or an equivalent credential. 
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in business systems analysis or related IT functions.
