What you will do:

As our Lead Field Reimbursement and Market Access Specialist for Neurovascular (NV), you will serve as a key business partner to internal commercial teams and stroke program stakeholders, providing expertise on reimbursement, coding, coverage, and payment policies to support market access efforts. In this role, you will spend up to 50% of your time in the field working with the sales team and stroke program stakeholders, so access to a major airport will be key. We will give priority to anyone in the western half of the US as that is the preferred overall location and we are open to remote, onsite or hybrid depending on each individual's location and preference.

  • Provide strategic support to customers with reimbursement and health-economics data

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to NV Commercial function to increase customer engagement by providing reimbursement, coding and payment data

  • Educate, train and support field sales team on reimbursement-related issues, including coverage, coding, and payment

  • Identify and establish relationships with multiple buying influencers at account level (stroke program stakeholders) and develop action plans to advance their understanding and support of Stryker NV business units product portfolio

  • Travel with field sales team members to support and educate customers with identified reimbursement challenges or training on reimbursement opportunities

  • Facilitate coverage and payment for Stryker NV products

What you need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. 

  • 4+ years of experience required.

  • 2+ years of experience in reimbursement and/or market access.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time meeting with customers, KOL’s, payors, conferences, and internal groups.

Preferred:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in data science, sales or health-economics.

  • Coding, coverage, reimbursement and health-economics knowledges within medical device or biotechnology industry preferred.

  • 1+ year of experience with strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop insights to drive market access strategies.

$77,700 - $186,700 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 50%
