WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  

Key Responsibilities: 

  

  • Strategic Ownership - Develop and refine paid search strategies aligned to Nike business objectives, seasonal priorities and product initiatives 

  

  • Agency Leadership - Serve as a primary contact with our media agency, providing strategic direction and ensuring flawless execution of campaigns 

  

  • Performance & KPIs - Set, track and optimize towards key performance targets (ROAS, Margin, Store Sales, New Customer growth)Proactively identify trends and opportunities to help drive growth and efficiency in these areas 

  

  • Cross Functional Reporting - Build clear, actionable reports and dashboards that translate performance into insights for stakeholders across marketing, product, finance and business teams 

  

  • Feed Management - Oversee product feed structure and optimization in partnership with engineering and merchandising teams; manage data quality to support PMAX. Shopping and other inventory-based campaigns. 

  

  • Ad Tech & Automation - Partner with tech teams to implement and manage ad tools (Google Merchant Center, LLMs, scripts, bid automation) and lead testing of new features and betas. 

  

  • Innovation & Testing - Design and run structure A/B and geo lift tests across creative, bidding, audience, landing pages to drive greater program growth and efficiency 

  

 WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON 

  

As the Paid Search Manager, you’ll own the strategy and performance of our North America paid search programYou will be the in-house lead overseeing an external agency responsible for executionYour role will focus on setting strategic direction, owning KPIs, optimizing feeds, developing the ad tech roadmap and delivering insight-driven reporting to cross-functional stakeholdersYou’re both analytically sharp and creatively curious, with a bias for action and deep understanding of how to drive business growth through Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging platforms 

 

 

What You Bring: 

  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training. 

  • Minimum of 6 years of directly relevant work experience in paid search, ideally in retail/recommerce or an agency supporting a high-volume brand with a large SKU count. 

  • Experience managing large budgets and complex campaign structures across Google, Microsoft and 3rd party partners. 

  • Strong command of data and analytics platforms (adobe, sa360, Looker/Power BI, or similar). 

  • Proficiency in feed optimization tools (feedonomics, datafeedwatch, or custom-built solutions). 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate performance into business and consumer impact. 

  • Experience working with or managing agency partners. 

  • Self-started mindset with strong project management and prioritization skills. 

  • Experience with PMAX and cross-channel measurement approaches (incrementality, MMM, MTA). 

  • Familiarity with ad scrips, API tools, LLMs, AI and automation frameworks. 

  • Experience partnering closely with SEO teams to optimize total search program.
