In today's digital world, finding genuine relationships is tougher than ever. At Hinge, we’re on a mission to inspire intimate connection to create a less lonely world. We’re obsessed with understanding our users’ behaviors to help them find love, and our success is defined by one simple metric– setting up great dates. With millions of users across the globe, we’ve become the most trusted way to find a relationship, for all.

About the Role

Hinge is hiring a Lead Product Manager to lead one of our most strategic growth initiatives: International Expansion. As a member of the User Growth team, you will be responsible for building the infrastructure, systems, and tools that allow Hinge to scale globally—efficiently, compliantly, and with cultural care. You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Trust & Safety, Legal, Marketing, and other product teams to ensure our product adapts to the needs of diverse markets. This is a high-impact role where platform excellence meets global product innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the roadmap for localization, compliance, and market enablement systems, aligning product initiatives with growth, retention, and user trust goals.
  • Drive improvements in localization systems including language, currency, content, and UX adaptation.
  • Support the development of frameworks for regional customization such as notifications, payments, and policies.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science to ensure scalable infrastructure for geographic expansion.
  • Partner with Trust & Safety, Legal, and Compliance teams to meet regional regulations around data, communication, and monetization.
  • Define policies and tools that support safe, responsible product launches in new markets.
  • Work with Product Marketing and Growth to support localized onboarding and engagement experiences.
  • Collaborate with the experimentation team to ensure testing platforms support multi-market insights and help set up regional KPIs.
  • Partner with stakeholders across engineering, marketing, legal, and design to communicate priorities and tradeoffs clearly.

What We're Looking For

  • 9+ years of product management experience, with 4+ years in platform, international, or enablement-focused roles.
  • Experience contributing to global product launches or building systems to support international expansion.
  • Familiarity with localization, compliance, or regional product adaptation at scale.
  • Strong technical fluency and the ability to translate engineering details into user value.
  • Clear product judgment with a bias toward scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • A proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering, data science, design, and product marketing.
  • Comfort operating with high ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments.
  • A systems thinker with strong product intuition and communication skills.
  • A belief in Hinge’s mission to make dating more intentional—and in the role platform excellence plays in delivering that mission globally.

As a member of our team, you’ll enjoy:

401(k) Matching: We match 100% of the first 10% of pre-tax 401(k) contributions you make, up to a maximum of $10,000 per year.

Professional Growth: Get an annual Learning & Development stipend once you’ve been with us for three months. You also get free access to Udemy, an online learning and teaching marketplace with over 6000 courses, starting your first day.

Parental Leave & Planning: When you become a new parent, you’re eligible for 100% paid parental leave (20 paid weeks for both birth and non-birth parents.)

Fertility Support: You’ll get easy access to fertility care through Carrot, from basic treatments to fertility preservation. We also provide a stipend towards fertility preservation. You and your spouse/domestic partner are both eligible.

Date Stipend: All Hinge employees receive a $100 monthly stipend for epic dates– Romantic or otherwise. Hinge Premium is also free for employees and their loved ones.

ERGs: We have eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)—Asian, Unapologetic, Disability, LGBTQIA+, Raices, Women/Nonbinary, Parents —that hold regular meetings, host events, and provide dedicated support to the organization & its community.

At Hinge, our core values are…

Authenticity: We share, never hide, our words, actions and intentions.

Courage: We embrace lofty goals and tough challenges.

Empathy: We deeply consider the perspective of others.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
