DIRECTV is seeking a Lead Product Marketing Manager responsible for defining project/program scope and objectives, guiding activities of a project/program team, identifying resources, and establishing a master timeline for deliverables. As a seasoned marketing professional, the DIRECTV Lead Product Marketing Manager understands the dynamics of the entertainment industry, has a passion for content, and a proven track record of successful partner management. The ideal candidate has experience working cross-functionally with internal/external teams to flawlessly deliver programs that achieve results against established organizational objectives, timelines, and financial goals.  

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Projects and programs are typically consumer and agent targeted marketing campaigns that involve working with technical and non-technical partners to bring the strategy to life. 
  • The projects/programs you’ll be supporting are often complex in nature, may not follow a repeatable framework, and typically span multiple business units. 
  • This role will also manage certain areas of responsibility in enterprise-wide IT enhancement projects to support the above-mentioned marketing campaigns leading cross functional teams, spanning technical development, go-to-market, and call centers, and responsible for the short term and long-term marketing plan development, strategic planning, and project delivery. 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Able to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines. 
  • Self-directed, organized, and detail oriented, as well as ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrate good judgement to risk mitigate any complex issues overcoming roadblocks. 
  • Proficient in learning new systems and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and to articulate technical requirements through clear documentation. 
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with technical managers and application developers, balanced with ability to concisely articulate through verbal communication and presentation to non-technical stakeholders and senior level executives. 
  • Ability to accommodate change and adapt accordingly. 
  • Leadership qualities, including ability to motivate others, inspire teams to a common goal, and overcome group roadblocks.  
  • Advanced leadership such as conflict resolution, senior leader relationship management, and risk mitigation are required. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Confidence and experience presenting and interacting across all levels of management. 

May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the contiguous United States. #LI-Remote

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $122,194 - $221,818

Low (N1): $122,194 - $183,241

Mid (N2): $128,625 - $192,885

High (N3): $141,488 - $212,174

Top (N4): $147,919 - $221,818
