Responsibilities

Roaming & Interconnect Management

  • Develop and execute roaming and interconnect strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage roaming and interconnect agreements with local and international operators.
  • Identify and onboard new roaming partners to expand Airtel Malawi's global network reach.
  • Ensure timely implementation of roaming and interconnect connectivity and billing arrangements.

Product Development & Commercial Management

  • Develop and manage roaming and international calling products for prepaid and postpaid customers.
  • Design innovative pricing models, bundles, and promotions to drive customer adoption and revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research, business case development, and profitability analysis for new initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance and implement optimization initiatives to improve revenue and customer experience.

Go-to-Market & Customer Experience

  • Develop and execute GTM strategies and campaigns for roaming and international calling products.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Technology, and Customer Experience teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Monitor customer feedback and usage patterns to continuously improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Identify opportunities for new products, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of telecom products, pricing, billing systems, and market dynamics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and commercial negotiations
