The Lead Salesforce Administrator will optimize and manage Salesforce to support sales processes, workflows, and user training while ensuring data governance and collaborating with interdepartmental teams.
Summary
The Lead Salesforce Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing, optimizing, and scaling the Salesforce platform to support the organization’s Go-To-Market (GTM) and Sales motions. This role requires extensive experience with Salesforce configuration, data governance, automation, and user enablement. The ideal candidate will have strong functional understanding of Sales processes, pipeline management, lead-to-cash workflows, and partner collaboration models. The administrator will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and IT teams to ensure Salesforce meets evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously optimize Salesforce org including users, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings.
- Design and maintain automations including Flows, validation rules, assignment rules, approval processes, and declarative tools.
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, and leadership teams to understand GTM requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Enhance lead, opportunity, territory management, forecasting, and account planning workflows.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and hygiene through audits, dashboards, and proactive controls.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support Sales KPIs and executive visibility.
- Support integrations between Salesforce and GTM systems such as CPQ, marketing automation, ERP, and data platforms.
- Lead user enablement through training, documentation, and best practice guidance.
- Act as the primary escalation point for Salesforce support issues and enhancements.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional IT teams for solution delivery and release management.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Salesforce administration experience with strong functional knowledge of Sales/GTM motions.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, data model, automation tools (Flows), and permission management.
- Strong understanding of lead-to-cash process, sales forecasting, opportunity management, and related workflows.
- Experience supporting CPQ, territory management, and partner/Channel workflows is preferred.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Familiarity with integrations between Salesforce and external GTM/ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator certifications preferred.
Compensation
The base salary range is $135,000-$145,000 per year for full-time employment, exclusive of benefits. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 5% of the base salary. Your base salary will be determined by your individual skills, education, and experience. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical in order to allow for future salary growth.
