We are looking for an experienced Lead SEO Analyst to join SeatGeek’s Growth Marketing team to help shape our search roadmap and strategy. This person should be a jack of all SEO trades, with robust onsite, offsite, and technical experience. A strong collaborator with impeccable communication skills, this person should come to the table with concrete ideas and plans for projects with a good understanding of SEO timelines and stakeholder management. 

In an industry that is very search-focused and dynamic, you will help develop and execute our strategy to capture and grow transactions through SEO and expand organic search visibility, working alongside our product, marketing and data science teams to keep SeatGeek as a leader in organic search. You’ll report to our Senior Manager, SEO.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the Senior SEO Manager on roadmap and strategy for the team
  • Work closely with dedicated partners in Product/engineering to ensure core website is SEO-optimized
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to make sure all team inputs are considered in SEO projects 
  • Own end-to-end SEO projects from ideation through to execution and reporting
  • Conduct on-page content audits, content gap analyses, keyword research and more to ensure leading search, UX, and content best practices.
  • Conduct technical audits and site crawls to monitor site health and speed and provide actionable recommendations for stakeholders to improve performance.
  • Identify new content/backlink opportunities from search landscape 
  • Provide SEO education, providing best practices documentation to internal teams to ensure a strong understanding of the channel company-wide

What you have

  • 6+ years of in-house or agency SEO work experience 
  • Strong familiarity with technical SEO. Existing knowledge of basic web development (HTML + JavaScript) is preferred
  • Proven history of collaborating alongside product and engineering teams to prioritize and scope work 
  • E-commerce SEO experience. Familiarity with competitive audits and tactical strategies to make the most of Google’s changing SERP landscape.
  • Robust understanding of keyword research and entity analysis to create best in class site coverage and information architecture
  • Data savviness and the ability to pull insights out of complex data sets. Experience using a BI tool, like Looker and familiarity with SQL is a plus  
  • Understanding of how to use AI and LLMs to supercharge productivity and create scalable solutions
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate recommendations and insights leveraging only the most compelling data and analytics for support 
  • SEO tools: familiarity with any of Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs is preferred

The salary range for this role is $96,000 - $140,000 USD. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
