Job Description SummaryThe Contract Manager will support the commercial and military sides of the business including contract development and agreement management, and offer contracting solutions to meet the assigned goals of the department and business. In this role, you will be responsible for work that is defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to affect short term and some long term business goals.
This position will involve working in support of US Government contracts (either as a prime contractor or subcontractor), and the position requires an understanding of both the Fixed Price and the Cost Reimbursement Groups as described in the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contract experts act as primary interface between GE and customers on all contractual matters
  • Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including regular interfacing with customers, leading negotiations, and assisting with contract interpretation
  • Interface with manufacturing, program management, marketing, Engineering, sales and legal
  • Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with supervision
  • Guide proposal team through assessing solicitations identifying business and compliance risks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial, government or international contract formation and execution.
  • Domain expertise with commercial terms and conditions, Federal Acquisition Regulations, with emphasis in Parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and 15 Contracting by Negotiation, and DoD FAR Supplement

The base pay range for this position is $108,900.00 – 120,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
