Klaviyo's GTM Systems team builds and runs the systems that power marketing, sales, partnerships, customer success, and services. We're looking for a Lenior Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of experience delivering complex SaaS GTM and revenue systems programs, who understands both how the systems work and how the business runs on them, and who is excited to bring AI into how we plan, deliver, and operate.

About the team

Our GTM Systems team sits at the center of Klaviyo's GTM engine, connecting Salesforce, CPQ, billing and finance systems, customer success and support platforms, and professional services tooling. We own the roadmap that lets our teams move quickly, trust their data, and focus on helping customers grow. As we scale, we're rebuilding parts of that stack around AI and agentic workflows as the operating model, not a bolt-on experiment, and we need a program leader who can deliver that change reliably.

About the role

As Lead Technical Project Manager, you own delivery of our highest-impact, highest-complexity GTM systems programs from intake through hypercare. Think CPQ replacement, quote-to-cash changes, customer success and support platform upgrades, and AI-enabled workflows that cut across Sales, Customer Success, Services, Finance, and Internal Audit. You turn ambiguous business goals into clear plans, sequence work across many teams shipping into the same core systems, and keep leadership informed with an honest view of commitments, risks, and progress.

You'll work hands-on with business systems analysts, developers, architects, vendors, and finance and audit partners, and you'll regularly present to senior and executive leadership. You use AI yourself to run programs faster and better, and you help bring it into the way our teams work.

How you'll make an impact

  • Own program delivery end to end: intake, prioritization, scoping, sequencing, status, and operating cadence for a multi-quarter GTM systems roadmap, from discovery through launch and hypercare.
  • Lead cross-functional programs at scale: manage dependencies across Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, Customer Success, Services, Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering, including teams that don't report to you.
  • Drive technical decisions with engineers and architects: weigh trade-offs, build-vs-buy calls, integration patterns, and vendor evaluations, and make sure decisions are documented and defensible.
  • Deliver with controls built in: partner with Finance, Internal Audit, and Security on revenue-impacting systems work (SOX/ITGC, access, change management, audit traceability) so controls are designed in, tested, and evidenced.
  • Manage vendors and implementation partners: run joint project plans, steering committees, decision logs, and risk reviews, and hold partners to commitments.
  • Bring AI into GTM and into how we deliver: help scope and ship AI and agentic workflows into production, and use AI tooling to improve planning, status reporting, testing, and documentation.
  • Build the operating model: establish intake, planning, release management, and reporting practices that hold up as the portfolio grows, and mentor teammates on program craft.
  • Communicate with clarity: give GTM Systems, GTM, Finance, and executive leaders a crisp view of scope, timeline, cost, risk, and decisions needed, in the room and in writing.

What makes you a great fit

  • 8+ years of technical program or project management, business systems delivery, or GTM/revenue systems experience at a SaaS company, with a track record of owning large, multi-team programs end to end.
  • Deep working knowledge of GTM systems and processes: lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-cash, renewals and amendments, customer success and support, and professional services delivery, and how objects, data, and approvals flow between Salesforce, CPQ, billing/ERP, contracting, and support tools.
  • Experience delivering in a Salesforce-centric environment where multiple teams ship into a shared core system on a common release process.
  • Experience partnering with finance, audit, or compliance functions on revenue-impacting systems and controls.
  • Strong technical fluency: you can read an architecture diagram, discuss integration and data-model trade-offs with developers, and spot delivery risk early.
  • Hands-on curiosity about AI: you use LLM tools in your own work, can talk credibly about where AI and agents help GTM workflows and where they need guardrails, and want to help teams adopt them responsibly.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication; comfortable driving outcomes through influence in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with CPQ implementations or replacements, quote-to-cash redesign, or billing/ERP integrations (for example NetSuite).
  • Experience with customer success, support, or services platforms (for example Gainsight, Zendesk, Certinia) and contracting tools (for example Ironclad).
  • Familiarity with SOX ITGC, revenue controls, or SOC reporting for vendor-hosted systems.
  • Experience standing up release management or CI/CD for a Salesforce org.
  • Exposure to agentic AI frameworks or MCP-based integrations in a business systems setting.
  • PMP, Salesforce, or similar certifications (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
  • Prior experience at a high-growth software or AI company.

Why this role matters at Klaviyo

  • Your programs directly affect how Klaviyo sells, bills, renews, and supports customers, with real visibility to senior GTM, Finance, and executive leadership.
  • You'll lead work that sits at the intersection of GTM systems, finance controls, and AI, a combination that is rare and increasingly valuable.
  • You'll help shape an AI-first delivery and operating model for GTM Systems, setting practices that outlast any single project.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
