Why is this role important to Field Nation?
Field Nation is seeking a strategic and creative Learning and Development Manager to elevate the knowledge and success of our Customer Success team, buyers, and partners. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Customer Success, you will design, deliver, and optimize scalable training solutions that drive product adoption, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention. You will manage our Learning Management System (LMS), lead content creation and strategy, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our educational resources align with business goals and customer needs.
What you'll get to do:
- Develop and execute scalable, data-informed learning strategies that align with the customer journey and broader business objectives.
- Own the end-to-end training lifecycle, including needs assessment, instructional design, content delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Define learning objectives and performance metrics for internal teams and external customers to ensure training effectiveness.
- Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless user experiences, effective content management, and ongoing system performance analysis.
- Design and develop engaging, multi-format learning content (e.g., videos, webinars, documentation) aligned with adult learning principles and brand standards.
- Deliver live virtual training sessions, onboarding experiences, and feature-focused workshops that drive product adoption and customer success.
- Analyze feedback and training data to assess program effectiveness, refine content, and demonstrate ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Implementation, Digital Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure training supports go-to-market strategies and consistent messaging.
- Act as a strategic partner and internal advisor on learning best practices, LMS use, and enablement initiatives.
- Stay current on learning trends, tools, and SaaS enablement strategies to continuously enhance program impact and learner engagement.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- 4+ years in customer education, instructional design, or training, ideally in SaaS or tech.
- Proven ability to independently design, implement, and optimize learning initiatives, evidenced by a history of exceeding established training goals and objectives.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and eLearning methodologies.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and content creation tools (e.g., video, interactive learning). Preferably Seismic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience using data to evaluate and improve training effectiveness.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
