The Federal Work Study position is a part-time, student worker opportunity with National University. The student will provide general support and assistance to their selected department and will work on special projects as assigned and in alignment with the student’s stated interests and career goals.
Essential Functions:
- Performs the creation of course-specific LibGuides
- Performs the basic modification of course development shells
- Performs the creation of the Course Outline document
- Performs the creation of the weekly task lists within courses
- Performs the selection and editing of course banner images
- Provide daily support to team members
- The list of essential functions explains the most common items that the Learning Experience Assistant will help with. This list is not all-inclusive and training will be provided for all areas in the list of Essential Functions.
Requirements:
- Must be a current National University student who has completed a current FAFSA
- Ability to work up to 15 hours per week with a varied working schedule
- Must be willing and able to handle course materials in a confidential manner
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Experience with remote work tools, such as Zoom and Teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Power Point)
- Ability to work independently and also work well with a team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities
- Willingness to learn new skills, computer software, technology, processes, and procedures

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
