Nordstrom is seeking a highly motivated and detailed oriented legal intern to join our in-house Legal team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment and work alongside experienced attorneys on a variety of legal matters.
As an intern, you’ll…
- Get an up-close, behind-the-scenes view of an in-house Legal department.
- Conduct legal research and analysis across a wide range of legal disciplines.
- Partner and support projects that impact a range of business areas, including gathering information and compiling data/findings.
- Attend a variety of meetings and proceedings, taking notes, observing client consultations, and potentially interacting with clients directly under supervision
- Work alongside and learn from experienced members of the Legal department.
You own this if you…
- Are a college student currently in your junior or senior year working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field AND/OR current law student (1L, 2L, or 3L) at an accredited law school.
- Have strong academic credentials. A demonstrated interest in in-house legal work preferred.
- Have excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Have ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
