Manage live ops for game launches and patches, coordinate between teams, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Requires strong communication and Korean proficiency.
We’re looking for a motivated Producer focused on Live Operations to help manage our fast-paced, multi-patch development cycles. In this role, you will coordinate all live ops requests (game launches, patches, service updates, etc.) between our publishing partner in Korea and the Dev team in North America. You will help manage and oversee multiple production workstreams, prioritize tasks and requests, and support other marketing/content coordination. This individual will need to work overlapping hours with the Theorycraft Development team and with the Korea publishing partners.
Ideally, you have:
- 3+ years of experience in production/project management in a live service game
- Demonstrated track record managing and maintaining live complex game production schedules, driving projects to timely and efficient completion, and delivering results
- Excellent communication skills and strong
- Korean written and verbal proficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail and understanding of game development processes and project management principles
We are a small team with big ambitions. We are hungry and want to win. We want to stay small, move fast, and ship early (while we’re still embarrassed). Whenever possible we opt to buy vs. build and we view game development as our craft - not our specialized sub-disciplines. We’re looking for people who thrive with a lot of freedom and responsibility; who wear a lot of different hats comfortably; and who are always, always acting on behalf of the player.
Theorycraft offers competitive base salaries and generous equity packages for full-time employees. As a pre-revenue startup, our base salary range for all roles, including this one, is $80k-$225k. Final base salary will be determined by an array of factors including internal equity, job related knowledge, skills, and work experience.
This position is a fully remote US west coast based role, fixed term contract, starting at 3 months with possible extensions depending on business needs. This individual will need to work overlapping hours to cover both the Theorycraft development team and the Korean publishing partner. It’ll be 40 hours per week with core hours from 2-8p PST, Monday through Thursday.
