Live Voice Writer (English) (Contractor)

3Play Media is currently seeking a motivated, experienced, and aspiring English Live Voice Writer to join our Global Marketplace Contractor team. We are looking for dedicated individuals ready to fast-track their onboarding to meet increasing demand.

As a Voice Writer, you will produce real-time closed captions for live events by re-speaking into our intuitive, web-based software. This is a contractor position with project-based assignments aligned with our live event schedule. Your work ensures that live content is accessible to everyone, everywhere, in real time.

• Impactful Work: Provide critical access for attendees at live-streamed events.
• Total Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the United States, claiming only the available live events that work with your schedule.

• High Initiative: You take ownership of your learning curve and thrive in fast-paced preparation environments.
• Technical Readiness: Access to a high-quality headset/microphone, a reliable computer, and a stable, high-speed internet connection.
• Verbal Precision: Excellent listening skills and a clear, consistent speaking voice.
• Cognitive Agility: Ability to multitask between listening, speaking, and navigating software.
• Professionalism: Strong command of English grammar and the ability to follow complex instructions independently.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to complete a background check.
• Ability to remain focused for the duration of live events (up to 90 minutes).

Project-based; $0.50 per captioned minute plus 20 minutes of pre-event check-in/preparation time, overtime rates when a live event exceeds the scheduled duration.
