About the RoleThis entry-level Loads & Dynamics Engineer I role focuses on supporting senior engineers in various projects related to dynamic environments and structural dynamics. The position involves performing first-order analysis, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The role requires clear communication skills, the ability to follow instructions effectively, and a collaborative approach to achieving project goals and meeting deadlines.
In this role, you will assist senior engineers in the analysis and evaluation of loads and dynamics for aerospace systems, collecting and analyzing data related to dynamic environments. You will perform first-order analysis using basic aerospace principles, standards, theories, and concepts to support project objectives. Additionally, you will prepare technical documentation and reports to communicate findings effectively. Working collaboratively with team members, you will contribute to achieving project goals and meeting deadlines. You will also clearly communicate technical concepts and information, both verbally and in writing, to ensure alignment and facilitate progress within the team.About You

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
  • Typically entry-level 0 - 2 years of experience.
  • Basic understanding of Dynamic Environments and/or Structural Dynamics.
  • Basic experience with the use and application of Aerospace principles, standards, theories, first-order analysis, and concepts.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.
  • Clear verbal and written communication of technical concepts and information.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or co-op experience in an aerospace or related engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering software tools such as MATLAB, NASTRAN, or similar.
  • Understanding of shock, random vibration, acoustics, and their impact on aerospace systems.
  • Experience with structural dynamics and its application in aerospace engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic work environment.


Compensation:

Pay Range:

$82,646.00 - $113,638.25

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
