Local SEO Project Manager for Scalable Agency Work (WordPress + GMB + Citations)

We are a Marketing Agency, managing hundreds of local and small business clients across industries such as home services, beauty, auto repair, car shops, and more. Our focus is on scalable, repeatable Local SEO systems that deliver measurable results.
What We’re Looking For:
We need an experienced Local SEO Specialist / Project Manager who can manage and execute SEO at scale. You should be hands-on with technical setup, but also capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Install and configure SEO plugins on WordPress sites (RankMath, Yoast, etc.)
Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GMB/GBP)
Build and clean up citations across platforms (BrightLocal, Yext, Viking, Whitespark, etc.)
Optimize websites for local rankings & Google Map Pack visibility
Manage recurring SEO tasks for 100+ clients across multiple verticals
Track, report, and continuously improve local rankings & conversions
Requirements:
Proven experience in Local SEO at scale (multi-location or agency work preferred)
Strong knowledge of GBP optimization, citation building, and local ranking factors
Proficiency with tools like BrightLocal, Viking, Yext, Whitespark, SE Ranking, Google Search Console, Surfer SEO
Hands-on WordPress SEO setup & optimization skills
Strong project management: ability to systemize, track, and deliver results across 100+ projects
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Engagement:
Long-term, ongoing work (retainer or hourly)
Remote — must be available for consistent updates & reporting
