Logistics Dispatcher

We are looking to add a committed and meticulous dispatcher to our logistics team. The ideal applicant will be essential in organizing transportation activities, guaranteeing prompt delivery of goods, and preserving efficient communication between all parties involved. Effective multitasking in a fast-paced setting and good analytical abilities are prerequisites for this role.
Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers, ensuring optimal efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics operations effectively.
• Analyze data related to dispatching activities to identify trends and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including data entry.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other departments to resolve issues and provide updates on delivery status.
• Monitor vehicle locations and ensure compliance with safety regulations during transport.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize logistics strategies and enhance overall operational performance.

Qualifications

•     Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management is preferred.
•     Familiarity with transportation management systems software is a plus.
•     Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
•     Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with team members and clients.
•     Ability to analyze logistical data to make informed decisions quickly.
•     Proficient typing skills for efficient documentation and reporting.
•     Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations is highly desirable.
•     Computer Skills are a must.
